workshops series
connect with others and deepen your practice
In the workshop you will get a mini sequence to help you achieve a specific asana (shape in your body). The sequence is designed to be brief and accessible. Ideally you will do the sequence daily (in addition to any yoga classes you take or trips to the gym you make) and should take you about 20 minutes to do.
How it works:
-
Sign up and attend both workshop sessions, offered twice a month in-studio, every other Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
-
Attend the first session to receive the sequence and a detailed breakdown of each shape.
-
Attend the second session to ask questions, get feedback, and share your progress with the community.
-
Check-ins throughout the month (FB, IG, text, email) for questions and to share updates on your progress.
-
Early access to the sequence video on YouTube
-
Get featured in the next newsletter to flex your new skills and inspire others.
-
VIP voting for the following month’s series focus.
October Workshop Series
Parsva bakasana (aka side crow)
Deva duuta pannasana (aka fallen angel)
In my humble opinion Side Crow is one of the more accessible arm balances.
Both shapes build strength in your upper body, core and hip flexors. If you have already mastered Side Crow you will focus on Fallen Angel. The goal is not how the posture looks in your body it is to use the shape to build both internal and external acceptance and balance both on and off the mat.
