Lotus Spirit Yoga grew from a passion for self-evolution and from a deep desire to help and serve others. The lotus is a symbol of enlightenment – or evolution of the self. The lotus roots in the mud, its stem grows up through the water and the heavily scented flower lays 8-12 inches above the water basking in the glory of sunlight. This pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the primeval mud of materialism, through the waters of experience, and into the bright sunshine of enlightenment. Here we carry the spirit of the lotus within us, a spirit to constantly grow and evolve together.
